We are now on week 5. I have completed everything except my commercial and posting my informative video about lemonade. Between now and the last time I blogged I've added more molecules, maps, and a few other pages. Such as what is scurvy, impact on history, and poster.
Today all i worked on was uploading images of locations and writing why they relate to ascorbic acids. I did Africa, Egypt, and the spice trade, today. They all were affected or had travelers go there that experienced scurvy. Ascorbic acid cures and prevents scurvy. Once that was learned travel and way of life for sailors was changed.
Today I rewrote most of my blogs because they weren't descriptive enough. Next I added a picture to my blog page. I did some more research and found that a good recipe for my project would be lemonade. I found a recipe I liked and wrote down the materials and steps to make it. I also added a picture to the page.
Today I started on my maps and locations page. I added the countries, Africa and Egypt. I also added a page about the spice trade. I added all of these locations because they are somehow related to or mentioned in my chapter. I also started research on the recipe I will be making using ascorbic acid.
Today was the second day to work on my project, I've successfully set up all my pages and have started on the molecules page. I went through my book and kept notes on things to work on in the following days.
Today was the first day of our new project over a certain chapter of the book Napoleon's Buttons. I was assigned chapter two. Today we went over our rubric and have started our own website, which you are on mine now. Basically we have to give a report over the molecule that our chapter covers while also keeping a blog of our progress. |
