I was challenged to find a recipe that uses my molecule, ascorbic acids, the most common place you will find this molecule is in lemons. So I thought why not lemonade. I'll be using a family recipe so it should come out pretty special.
Mark's Lemonade Recipe
Materials,
1 3/4 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups lemon juice
8 cups water
Directions for making the lemonade
Step 1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Allow to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate until chilled.
Step 2. Remove seeds from lemon juice, but leave pulp. In pitcher, stir together chilled syrup, lemon juice and remaining 7 cups water.
